How to Edit an Existing Role in Kayana Partner Admin

This guide explains how to edit an existing role from the Roles & Permissions section in Kayana Partner Admin. You can update a role's name, colour, description, and permissions at any time.
Steps
- Log in to Kayana Partner Admin using your credentials.
- From the left-hand sidebar, select Users & Permissions.
- Click Roles & Permissions. The Roles & Permissions screen will open, displaying all existing roles in your organisation.
- Use the Search field at the top of the screen to find the role you want to edit.
- Locate the role you want to update and click the Edit (pencil) icon in the Actions column. The Update Role form will open. This form contains the same fields as the Add New Role form, pre-populated with the role's existing details.
- Update the required fields as needed:
Basic Information
- Role Name — Update the role name if required (maximum 50 characters).
- Role Colour — Click Change Colour to update the colour assigned to this role.
- Description — Update the description of what this role can do (maximum 150 characters).
Permissions
Toggle the relevant permissions ON or OFF as required:

| Dashboard | Stay informed with up-to-date operational status. (Mandatory — cannot be disabled) |
| Product Management | Manage products and their access. |
| Customer Management | Manage customers and their access. |
| Analytics & Reports | Access to analytics, reports, orders, and disputes. |
| Payment Services | Manage services operations and settings. |
| Users & Permissions | Manage users, roles, and access control. |
| Kayana Ticketing | Manage and track support tickets efficiently. |
| Settings | Configure system and organisation settings. |
- Once all changes have been made, click the Update Role button at the bottom of the form.
- A toast notification will appear confirming the role has been updated successfully.
- You will be returned to the Roles & Permissions screen where the updated role will reflect your changes.
