How to Create a New Role in Kayana Partner Admin

This guide explains how to create a new role from the Roles & Permissions section in Kayana Partner Admin. Roles allow you to define what each user can see and do within your organisation.
Steps
- Log in to Kayana Partner Admin using your credentials.
- From the left-hand sidebar, select Users & Permissions.
- Click Roles & Permissions. The Roles & Permissions screen will open. From here you can manage who can see and do what in your organisation.
- Use the Search field at the top of the screen to check whether a role already exists before creating a new one.
- Click the + Add New Role button. The Add New Role form will open.
- Fill in the required details:
Basic Information
- Role Name — Enter a name for the role (maximum 50 characters).
- Role Colour — Click Change Colour to assign a colour to help identify this role across the system.
- Description — Enter a description of what this role can do (maximum 150 characters).
Permissions
Toggle the relevant permissions ON or OFF depending on what this role should have access to:

| Dashboard | Stay informed with up-to-date operational status. (Mandatory — cannot be disabled) |
| Product Management | Manage products and their access. |
| Customer Management | Manage customers and their access. |
| Analytics & Reports | Access to analytics, reports, orders, and disputes. |
| Payment Services | Manage services operations and settings. |
| Users & Permissions | Manage users, roles, and access control. |
| Kayana Ticketing | Manage and track support tickets efficiently. |
| Settings | Configure system and organisation settings. |
Note: Dashboard access is mandatory and cannot be toggled off.
- Once all details and permissions are configured, click the + Create Role button at the bottom of the form.
- A toast notification will appear confirming the role has been created successfully.
- You will be returned to the Roles & Permissions screen where your newly created role will appear in the list.
