How to Add a Card Reader on Kayana EPOS

To start accepting card payments on your Kayana EPOS, you’ll first need to connect your card reader. Here’s how to get it set up quickly and correctly:
1. Connect the Card Reader
Plug your card reader into the EPOS device using the provided USB cable. Make sure the connection is secure and the reader is powered on.
2. Open System & Connectivity Settings
From the home screen, tap “More” at the bottom. Select “System.” Then tap “System & Connectivity.”
3. Access Card Reader Settings
On the System & Connectivity screen, tap “Card Reader.”
4. Select Your Reader
You’ll see a list of available readers. Choose your card reader from the list (check the serial number on the back of the device if there’s more than one).
5. Enter the Reader PIN
A prompt will appear asking for the Reader PIN. Enter the PIN to authorize the connection.
6. Confirm the Connection
Once paired successfully, a confirmation message will appear, and your reader will be ready to use for payments. Tips:
- If your reader doesn’t appear, double-check that it’s securely connected and powered on.
- Try restarting the EPOS or the reader if the issue continues.
