How to Connect Printers on Your Kayana EPOS

Connecting a printer to your Kayana EPOS ensures receipts, labels, and kitchen tickets print correctly for smooth order processing. Follow these quick steps to set up your printer.
Step 1: Open System & Connectivity Settings
- From the home screen, tap More in the bottom menu.
- Select Settings.
- Tap System & Connectivity.
Step 2: Choose Printer Type
On the System & Connectivity screen, select the type of printer you want to connect:
- Connect Thermal Printer – for standard receipt printing at checkout.
- Connect Label Printer – for printing order tags or kitchen tickets.
Step 3: Select Your Printer
- Tap the printer type you need.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to select and connect your printer.
Step 4: Confirm the Connection
- Once connected, the printer will appear as active in the system.
- Test the connection by printing a sample receipt or label.
Tips for a Successful Connection:
- Ensure your printer is plugged in and powered on before connecting.
- For USB printers: make sure the cable is firmly attached to the EPOS device.
- For network printers: confirm your EPOS is connected to the same network as the printer.
