How to Update the KDS with the Latest Changes from Partners Admin

This guide will walk you through the process of manually updating your Kitchen Display System (KDS). Following these steps will ensure that any recent changes made in the Partners Admin Portal, such as menu updates or new settings.

1. Open & Connectivity Settings in your KDS to Update Kitchen Display Systems

First, you'll need to access the main settings menu on your KDS.

• Tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the KDS home screen. Locate and tap the Settings icon, which can be found in the top-right corner of the KDS home screen.
• Go to Settings, navigate to System & Connectivity and then tap System & Connectivity

2. Apply Updates

Now that you are in the System & Connectivity menu, you can initiate the update.

• Find the option to Update Device with Latest Changes
• Tap the corresponding Update button to begin the sync. The Kitchen Display System will connect to the Partners Admin portal with the latest configuration.

You should use this manual update process whenever you've made immediate changes in the backend, such as adjusting menu items, updating prices, or modifying KDS settings, and you need them to take effect right away.
