Connecting the BBPOS WisePad 3 to Your Kayana EPOS Device

What’s in the Box
When you receive your BBPOS WisePad 3 reader, ensure the package includes:
- BBPOS WisePad 3 Reader
- USB-C Cable (for charging and data)
Step-by-Step: Connecting BBPOS WisePad 3 to the EPOS
- Plug in the Reader Connect the WisePad 3 to your Kayana EPOS device using the USB-C cable, connecting it to the white-coloured port only.
- Power On the Reader Press and hold the Power button on the reader You should see a charging icon at the top of the screen.
- Configure Location settings
Allow location permissions — Grant the application access to the device’s location. Pairing the BBPOS WisePad 3 card reader successfully requires this step.
- Wait for the Setup Pop-Up Once connected, a “Stripe Reader Setup” pop-up will appear on the EPOS screen. The device may take atleast 5–6 seconds to be discovered.

- Select Card reader from the Connections Screen
The setup pop-up will open the Connections screen. From here, you should select “Card Reader.”
- Confirm Connection Once connected successfully, you’ll see a green tick on the card reader icon at the top-right corner of the EPOS screen.
- Ready for Payments You have now paired your card reader with the EPOS device. Customers can now tap or insert cards to complete transactions.
