Creating a Happy Hour Discount in Kayana Partner Admin

Overview

This guide explains how to create a Happy Hour Discount in Kayana Partner Admin. Happy Hour Discounts allow you to apply a percentage discount to specific menu items during a set time window, on selected days of the week, and for specific order types.

How to Access Happy Hour Discounts

Step 1. Log in to Kayana Partner Admin using your credentials.

Step 2. From the left-hand sidebar, select Settings.

Step 3. Select Discounts.

Step 4. Click Happy Hour Discount. The Happy Hour Discount screen will open, displaying all existing happy hour discounts. If no discounts have been created yet, the screen will show "There are no records to display."

How to Create a New Happy Hour Discount

Step 5. Click the Add Happy Hour Discount button in the top right corner of the screen. The Happy Hour Discount form will open.

Step 6. Fill in the required details:

Activity Name Enter the name for the happy hour activity. This is the discount name that identifies this happy hour offer.

Discount Value (Percentage) Enter the percentage discount to be deducted from the order total. Happy Hour Discounts on Kayana Partner Admin are percentage-based only.

Discount Start Date and End Date Select the date range during which this happy hour discount will be active using the date range picker. The discount will be valid from the start date until the specified end date.

Time Range Select the start time and end time for the happy hour window. This defines the hours during which the discount will apply each day within the selected date range.

Select Days of the Week Select the days of the week on which this happy hour discount should apply from the dropdown.

Select Platform Select the platform this happy hour discount should apply to from the dropdown.

Select Items Select the menu items this happy hour discount should apply to from the dropdown. Only the items selected here will have the discount applied during the happy hour window.

Order Types Select at least one order type by ticking the relevant checkboxes. The happy hour discount will only apply to orders placed under the selected order types:

• Dine In
• Take Away
• Delivery
• Collection

At least one order type must be selected.

Step 7. Once all details are filled in, click the Submit button at the bottom of the form.

The happy hour discount will be created and will appear in the Happy Hour Discount list.
