How to Create a PIN-Protected Private Event in Kayana Partner Admin

Overview

This guide explains how to create a PIN-protected private event in Kayana Partner Admin. This allows you to restrict access to your event so that only users with the correct PIN can view and access it.

Steps to Create a PIN-Protected Private Event

1. Log in to the Kayana Partner Admin using your credentials.
2. From the left-hand sidebar, navigate to Kayana Tickets.
3. Click on All Events.
4. Locate the event you want to configure or create a new event.
5. Click on the Edit button under the Actions column.
6. On the Edit Event page:
• Set the Event Visibility toggle to Private.
7. Enable PIN Protection:
• Switch the PIN Protection toggle ON.
• Enter a 6-digit PIN in the field that appears.
8. Save the changes by clicking the "Update event" button at the bottom.

Important Note

• PIN protection applies only to Private events.
• It cannot be enabled for Public events.
• Even without a PIN, Private events are not visible on the Kayana Tickets website.

How Users Access a PIN-Protected Event

• The event will not be visible publicly.
• Users must have:
• The direct event link, and
• The 6-digit PIN to access the event.

How to Share the Event

1. Go to the All Events page.
2. Click on the event to open its details page.
3. Copy the event link and share it along with the PIN.

Expected Outcome

• The event is set to Private and protected by a 6-digit PIN.
• Only users with the link and PIN can access the event.
