How to Enable or Disable Card Payments on Kayana EPOS
Last updated Jun 3, 2025
You can easily control whether card payments are accepted on your EPOS by allowing or restricting card payments. This is useful if your card reader is temporarily unavailable or if you only want to take cash payments for a while.
1. Open Secret Settings
Access the Secret Settings menu — this section is hidden for privacy and security. Use your organization’s approved method or contact your system administrator if you’re unsure how to access it.
2. Locate the Card Payment Toggle
In the Secret Settings menu, find the option labeled Card Payment Mode.
3. Turn Card Payments On or Off
Tap the toggle to enable or disable card payments. Your EPOS will instantly update, and the change will take effect at checkout. Tip: Use this feature to quickly switch between cash-only and card-enabled modes, depending on your setup or network availability. By managing your card payment settings, you’ll stay flexible — so your checkout runs smoothly no matter how your customers choose to pay.
